Southeast Saskatchewan could be home to some of the first GE Hitachi Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), providing Saskatchewan with nuclear generated power for generations.

GE is already building one of these SMRs in Ontario. Plus, GE has potential clients from around the world and our communities are being asked to be a part of the supply chain.

Businesses looking to diversify their manufacturing and customer base through SMR and mining supply chain will receive the needed specs and details on how to proceed. Requirements will be provided for future planning and industry strategy development.

Presentations will include: SIMSA, SaskPower and Prairie Canada and NRC.
